VIEW RECORDING: DEC. 9 DE LA LANDOWNERS MEETING
The corporation behind this dangerous pipeline -- Moss Lake Partners -- has been radio silent for nearly a year...
No communication, no surveys, no easement offers, no explanation.
We strongly suspect Moss Lake Partners has abandoned the pipeline project. [1]
The company, however, is keeping its pipeline permit request open with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), despite a year without significant updates.
This is a concern for several reasons:
It leaves landowners in limbo, not knowing if their land may or may not be targeted for a hazardous pipeline.
The looming threat of a pipeline can place "condemnation blight" on your land, making it more difficult to develop or sell your property.
Should the project ever move forward, the utter lack of transparency highlights the poor character of the company.
Take action to protect your property!
On Dec. 9, we met online via Zoom at 6pm CT to discuss the most recent updates on Moss Lake Partners and the supposed DeLa Express pipeline. We'll also go over actions landowners can take to help put an end to this state of limbo, and introduce our newly published Texas Landowner Guide to Pipeline Opposition.
The system is rigged. But we're fighting back. Our state government has stacked the deck against landowners and communities in favor of supporting multibillion dollar corporations. If we want to maintain and protect our property rights, our land, and our water, we must continue pushing back against the corrupt system.
The Texas Easement Action Alliance (TEAA) is a grassroots organization established to help educate and empower landowners to protect their land, family, and futures.
